Melissa Clontz has been a registered nurse for 28 years and has experience as the Director of Nursing in a long-term care facility as well as an Assisted Living Administrator. Currently, Melissa works as a long-term care consultant and charge nurse on a critical care unit of a hospital. Melissa shares she has enjoyed caring for individuals with illness and/or disabilities her entire life.

She shared, “I am an active 57-year-old female, wife, mother and grandmother. I have built my home on family land and enjoy working outside. I garden every year and can vegetables that have been produced from my garden. I enjoy working in my flower beds which takes my mind off everyday stress. My family is a very important part of my life, summer is spent traveling to the beach where my brother and sister live and playing in the pool at my house.”

Her Husband William Lloyd Clontz resides in the home as well as their dog. The couple enjoy spending time together and going to car shows. Melissa desires to be a provider so that she can offer a caring home environment so they do not have to be in other facilities. Melissa also desires to spend more time with her family.

Melissa’s home is a one level house with a full walk-out basement. There are three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. There is a large living area with a wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The basement has an additional full bath, laundry room, large recreation area, and second kitchen. The home has a heat pump and central air conditioning. There is a sunroom as well as a large covered back deck with a beautiful view. The home is conveniently located near the town of Hillsville.
