Jacob and Angela Beamer have been providers with Wall Residences for 12 years. The Beamer’s have two children, a son currently attending college and a daughter in middle school. They both have a bachelor’s degree in special education from Radford University and a master’s degree in leadership from Virginia Tech. They have multiple years of experience working with individuals who have varying support needs. They strive to support individuals to reach their full potential in all areas to live a meaningful and happy life.

The Beamer’s coach Middle School softball, value time with their two children, and are very active in their community. The two Individuals that currently reside with the Beamer’s enjoy accessing the community and traveling, such as going to the beach, staying at a nice Airbnb, and enjoying good food. The Beamer’s network with other families who care for Individuals, and plan gatherings and out of town trips as larger groups. Being social and part of the community is very important to the family.

The Beamers have supported the two gentlemen that currently live with them for 12 years. They would like to open their home to two other Individuals, as they are now a licensed Group Home. The Beamer’s middle school aged daughter resides with them, and their sweet, small dog named Luna. The Beamer’s offer person-centered care, by fostering each individual’s growth toward their personal goals and dreams. They desire for each individual to “live their best life” and become a valuable member of their family and community.

The Beamer’s live in the heart of Hillsville, Virginia, with easy access to the public library, walking trails, wellness center, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Interstate 77. Their gorgeous, fully updated, 4,500 square feet home has three separate living areas, two large kitchens, eight bedrooms, five and a half baths, and bonus rooms. They also have multiple porches and decks as well as a fenced in-ground swimming pool with a large outdoor entertainment area. The Beamer’s Group Home is looking forward to welcoming two new individuals into their home.
