Jeannie has been a provider for Wall Residences for over a year supporting one individual. Jeannie graduated from Radford University with her Bachelor of Social Work in 2021, and then worked closely with the local Community Services Board and Local DSS gaining lots of experience prior to becoming a provider. Jeannie has worked in local group homes for over five years supporting clients with a variety of medical, behavioral, and mental health needs.

Jeannie has family members who are also providers for Wall Residences and they often have community outings together. Jeannie has participated in the local Special Olympics team in the area for many years. She enjoys vacationing and traveling to new areas. Jeannie is supported in her home with back up staff that is made up of her sisters who have multiple years of experience with different types of supports for individuals.  Jeannie strives to provide support for her individuals to feel adapted. Her goal for individuals is that they feel welcomed into her home to ensure consistent, long lasting, and exceptional care so they can obtain the best quality of life.

Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Jeannie’s residence is a three bedroom and two bath home right outside of Galax, Virginia. The home has a nicely furnished living area upstairs. Jeannie and her current individual enjoy spending time on the large back deck during the warm days. The home is on a private drive with a nice yard providing peace while also still being conveniently close to local hospitals, day programs, restaurants, and community activities. The home currently is licensed for two individuals and has one open vacancy.  The individual will have opportunity to choose to have a bedroom that has its own attached bathroom (sink, toilet, walk-in shower), or one that does not and shares the hallway bathroom.
