Tammy Tanner comes to Wall Residences with several years of experience working with individuals living with disabilities. She spent her career as a direct support professional providing residential and in-home support in a group home setting. This experience has allowed her to cultivate her skill in the areas of crisis intervention and management, problem solving, empathetic listening, and being person-centered. Tammy believes that being a sponsor residential provider is a deeply rewarding and fulfilling role. She feels it is a privilege to have the opportunity to support individuals in their journey towards independence, growth, and overall well-being.

As a sponsor residential provider, Tammy committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. She takes pride in offering compassionate care, fostering meaningful connections, and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Tammy says she is inspired by the resilience and strength of the individuals she has had the opportunity to serve, and is grateful to be a part of their lives. She stated, “It also allows me to make a positive impact and contribute to the betterment of others.”

Tammy’s is a fun-loving, patient, compassionate, and jovial person. She enjoys bike riding through her neighborhood with her two children. Tammy and her family love family game nights and their favorites are Uno, Monopoly, and Wii dance games. Family movie nights are a staple at her household either at a local AMC theatre or the comfort of home. Tammy really enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. Tammy shares her home with her young adult son and two school-age children (one boy and one girl). Tammy is very close to her mother who visits often along with her dog, a Malti-Poo who is very friendly after she gets used to your presence in the home.

The home provides three levels of living space with a main floor, upper-level, and basement. The home has a driveway and sidewalk that lead to either the front door of the home or the two-car garage, which is on ground level. The home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The main level of the home has a sitting room, dining room, kitchen with an eating area, half-bathroom, and a living room. There is a backyard with a sitting area that can be accessed through the kitchen. The upper level of the home has four bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. The basement has a door, which also leads to the backyard.  The home utilizes public water and sewer; the heat source is gas. The appliances in the home are also gas.
