Karen Daniels and her team brings over a decade of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The entire team has been trained in human rights, medication management, CPR, CMRT, Positive Behavior Support and Dual Diagnosis. Karen and the team’s main goals are to treat each individual with respect, dignity, and to provide the most safe and fun home while learning independent living skills.
They enjoy spending time in the community, shopping, and traveling which includes day trips, beaches, amusement parks, and extravagant vacations such as Disney World and Cruises. Karen is an advocate for the disability community and volunteers with Special Olympics, the ARC of VA and Tim Tebow’s A Night to Shine with her dedicated staff.
The current residents residing in her home are female. They enjoy spending time in the community and attend day support during the week, and enjoy relaxing on the weekends. Both women are very independent and would welcome a likeminded housemate. The Daniels’ group home is dedicated to helping individuals live a good life, building relationships in the community, and pursuing their life goals. Staff is onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The Daniels’ Group home is located in Warrenton and is within walking distance from the downtown area. The home is a spacious, three level home with an open floor plan. The home has four bedrooms and three and a half baths. The house is within close proximity to shopping centers and restaurants. Individuals have a special lounge area to relax, watch tv, and enjoy computer time. The home also comes with a large deck to enjoy the weather during the spring and summer months.
