Chris has been a provider with Wall Residences since 2008. He has vast experience with individuals with behavioral and medical needs. He is CPR/ First Aid Certified and maintains his yearly training for his direct service care position.

He enjoys spending his free time with family and sightseeing in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Often, Chris can be found enjoying the fresh air by spending time at the river, fishing, and engaging in relaxing outdoor picnics. Additionally, he has a love for music, laughing, and spending time with people he loves.

Chris has supported up to two individuals in his home during his past sixteen years with Wall Residences. His vacancy is licensed for two individuals and has one available vacancy. He is looking to open his home to another individual. He resides with his high school aged daughter part-time. There is a dog and cat that reside at the home as well.

When Provider Chris was asked why he was a provider he shared the following, “I like being a provider because I enjoy helping people and being a caregiver. I love helping others overcome obstacles in their life. I learn as much from the people I take care of hopefully as much as they learn from me. This job is not a job it is new perspective and meaning on life. This is not a job but rather a gift that I was meant to do.”.

The home is in the center of the charming Galax, VA in a private subdivision. This cape cod style house has four bedrooms and three baths. Featured on the first floor is a large open concept living room attached to the dining and easily accessible large kitchen area. Off from the spacious living room there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs is additional two more bedrooms and another large spacious bathroom.

The home features outdoor living with a covered deck that faces a beautiful, wooded lot where you can often feel a breeze and see nature’s animals. The home also features a large back deck for additional outdoor entertainment and the garage has a wheelchair lift. This residence has easy access to downtown Galax, vast shopping, and is close to the local charming downtown of Galax Va. The individuals residing here would have a master suite downstairs with a private bath.
