Ana García has been a provider with Wall Residences since 2014. Her extensive experience is both personal and professional. She started in the disability support field as a back-up worker. She loved spending time with individuals with intellectual disabilities and decided she wanted to do this for the rest of her life. She also raised two children of her own with hearing impediments and educated herself to ensure they had a healthy quality of life, developing patience and understanding.

Before becoming a provider with Wall Residences, she worked for state agencies who provided services to the community and moved her focus to persons with intellectual disabilities. She served as a group home manager, which made her decide she wanted to share her own home and support individuals as a provider. She is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in a family-oriented environment.

Ana’s home is a lake front property in the Wilderness Park subdivision. The four bedroom, three bath, one level house has built in ramps and water views from every bedroom. This allows for individuals who may be fall risk or in wheelchair bound to access all areas of the home without problem. The home is set up to allow independent living with a small one bedroom apartment attached to the house. The neighborhood includes many recreational amenities including a community pool and a dock for fishing. Shopping, historic sites, and I-95 are within a fifteen-minute drive.

Ana García is open to supporting an ambulatory or non-ambulatory individual. She has medical, pharmaceutical, and positive behavioral support knowledge. She is also trilingual (English, Spanish and ASL). Ana looks forward to adding individuals to her household and providing them with the best quality of life.
