Samantha (Sami) graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and worked in the education field for more than four years serving elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities. While doing that, she received a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education/Adapted Curriculum. Sami has provided various services to individuals directly impacted by intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. Many of these individuals additionally presented with extensive behavioral support needs, which led to personal growth of effective behavioral management skills. Her experiences have further driven her desire to help others achieve their goals and dreams, often providing necessary supports and accommodations to make them attainable. Sami is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities and ensuring everyone is provided appropriate, person-centered care.
