Amber Hall, BS

Regional Coordinator - Danville

Amber has a Bachelor of Science degree and has had over twelve years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis in a variety of settings. Prior to joining the team at Wall Residences, she worked as a direct support provider and Case Manager at day support and sheltered workshop, and as a Residential Coordinator. Amber and her husband also serve an individual with intellectual disabilities in their home.

Amber Hicks, BBA

Office Technician - Client Records

Maintains client’s paper and electronic files, updates the Data Center, checks in new Plans and Quarterlies, communicates with Program Managers regarding needed information/documents, assists with maintaining client archives.

Amber Tessar

Accounting Assistant

Receives and processes employee reimbursements. Processes all invoices and makes payments as needed. Tracks and maintains receipts from company credit cards. Ensures all aforementioned items are correctly input in the accounting software.

Amy Braswell

Quality Assurance Coordinator - Northern Virginia

Amy Braswell brings over 20 years of experience in the field of Developmental Services to her position as Quality Assurance Coordinator to Wall Residences.  Amy started her career as a paraprofessional in the schools before becoming a direct support professional for a group home operated by a Community Services Board as she worked to graduate from the University of Mary Washington.  Following graduation, she was hired as a group home manager for a different CSB where she led a team for 5 years before joining Wall Residences as a Program Manager.  Later, she was promoted to Senior Program Manager before joining the Community Resource Consultant team at the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, leading their Provider Team of CRCs throughout the Commonwealth.  Amy was happy to return to her Wall family in September 2024 as Quality Assurance Coordinator.  Other significant career highlights include serving on the boards of the Arc of Rappahannock and the Arc of Virginia, being a Person Centered Thinking trainer, endorsed through the Learning Community for Person Centered Practices, since 2012, and serving on the Virginia Person Centered Practices Leadership Team for the same amount of time.

Amy Latta, BS, QMHP-C

Program Manager - Richmond

Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has over 25 years of experience working with children with varying ability levels as well as working as a Vocational Counselor for supporting adult individuals with intellectual disabilities.  Amy enjoys serving and seeing individuals live their best lives!

Andy Hullender, MSA

Staff Accountant

Andy holds a Bachelors and Master’s in Accounting from Liberty University. His duties are in the Controller’s office providing support for financial reporting, month-end closing, and other duties as needed. Prior to his experience at Wall Residences, Andy served consumers and small business owners with financial services.

Angel Yuvanavattana

Billing Specialist

Responsible for assisting with client billing and provider payments. Maintains and reviews service authorizations and invoices to ensure proper and correct billing. Troubleshoots billing problems. Organizes billings files to ensure they are up to date and complete with all required information. Produces Provider Income Verifications and prepares quarterly incentive payments for eligible providers.

Angela Newman, BS, QDDP

Eastern Residential Regional Director

Angela Newman brings over 20 years of experience in the field of Developmental Services to her position as Residential Regional Coordinator. Angela started her career as a direct support professional for a group home operated in Pennsylvania, working as a paraprofessional in the school system in North Carolina and as a residential counselor at a Crisis Stabilization Program operated by a Community Services Board in Virginia. Following graduation with a degree in Human Servies and a Minor in Special Education, Angela worked as a Group Home Manager for 6 years operated by a Community Services Board before joining Wall Residences. Angela has been with Wall Residences for over 10 years and served within the capacity of Program Manager, Regional Program Coordinator and Quality Assurance Coordinator prior to transitioning into her current role as the Residential Regional Director for the Eastern Division.

Angie Covington, BSJ

Marketing Coordinator – Statewide

Angie has over 25 years of experience using words and images to change minds, sell products, and create results for corporations and non-profit organizations. Her expertise includes communications planning, advertising design & placement, social media, and event coordination. She is a firm believer in collaborative work and lifting the importance of every life. Angie is excited to spread the word about the value of Wall Residence’s high quality person-centered care for both Direct Support Providers and those receiving support. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University.
