Office Technician – Human Resources & Administrative

Wall Residences is seeking an Office Technician – Human Resources & Admin for our busy office in Christiansburg, VA with some occasional work in our corporate office in Floyd.

This position assists with the functions, duties and maintenance of the Human Resources Department’s day-to-day operations to include employment processes such as document retention using ADP and other software, recruitment, orientation, benefits, and providing employee support/customer service/education. Position also provides administrative/clerical support for other departments/staff at the Christiansburg location.

Accuracy is critical. Strong customer service acumen required and ability to greet and assist others courteously and efficiently. Effective oral and written communication, training and /or experience in office operations including organization of office files and confidential personnel documents. Strengths include the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, prioritizing multiple and varied tasks. Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc), data entry processes required. Prior knowledge and experience with ADP/HRIS systems and Adobe PDF desired.

Position is full-time, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
