Group Home House Manager – Fredericksburg

Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a Group Home House Manager for our new group homes in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area.

A Group Home House Manager will provide direct guidance and oversight to the primary functions of the group home including, Direct support professionals (DSP) supervision, leadership, schedule coordination, and ensuring overall day-to-day processes and quality care to the individuals receiving services. The House Manager will ensure that individual support is provided as outlined in the Plan for Support and that internal standards meet and/or exceed Licensure, Human Rights, Medicaid regulations, and Wall Residences policies and procedures. The House Manager will provide leadership and model services that are consistent with person-centered practices.

Additional duties include but are not limited to managing household budget including personnel costs, referral of building/vehicle maintenance needs. Ability to be available when call-outs occur is required.

Must have excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, in email, and other documentation. This is a full time position with on-call requirements.

Hiring is dependent upon excellent references, an active driver’s license with a good driving record, and a criminal background check with acceptable results.
