Nathan & Jane Wilkins have served as Providers since 2003. They have experience caring for those with seizure disorders, diabetes, catheter care, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral diagnoses.

The Wilkins’ home is a 5 bedroom, 2 bath house with a large yard, fit pit area, and a newly updated sidewalk, located near the town of Amherst. They also have property with access to the James River where they often picnic, swim, and socialize with friends and family. They tend a garden on this property. The Wilkins own a river cabin on the Tye River, where they go in the summer to enjoy outdoor activities, including swimming, fishing, nature trails, picnicking, and more.

They enjoy gardening, being outdoors, going to local festivals and events, being on the river on their boat, kayaking, swimming, seasonal and holiday events, and spending time with friends and family. The Wilkins have three grandchildren who live nearby.

This vacancy will be best for an individual who is ambulatory due to an upstairs bedroom. Nathan and Jane are excited to add an individual to their household who enjoys going and doing… an active lifestyle of shopping, dining out, nature walks, swimming, etc. and who would fit well with the two ladies they already support.

Nathan and Jane take pride in the services they provide to those they support in their home. They promote a family unit model and include the entire household in their traditions, planned events, and family gatherings.
