Jonathan Gomez comes to the Provider role with experience as a Direct Support Professional in a residential setting and a deep understanding of the Sponsored Residential model of care, having served as a back-up worker for his brother John who is also a Wall Residences Provider. Jonathan has also worked as DSP in a community coaching setting. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

Jonathan shares a Portsmouth, VA county home with his brother Steven, who will be serving as a back-up worker for this service. The lovely two-story home has four bedrooms, three baths, and a beautifully landscaped yard. The property is strategically centered near two big shopping centers with lots of amenities such as diverse food options, different shopping experiences, parks and recreational areas, and fun activity options. The property features beautiful new furniture to go along its modern style. The open concept main living space is complemented by a large TV, a small rear patio perfect for relaxing and grilling, and large garage which has been converted into a recreation room with space for gaming and other activities. The available vacancy is a 2nd floor bedroom with a shared bathroom.

The Gomez brothers are outgoing, loving, and with over five years of experience providing care to the ID/DD community. The brothers are very family oriented and are always up for the opportunity to enjoy  gatherings with nearby extended family. They enjoy taking long walks around the neighborhood, watching movies, playing board games, and taking road trips to Virginia Beach, Norfolk Waterside, New York, and other destinations for fun vacations.

Jonathan and Steven will serve as a team to provide a loving, caring environment and to provide quality support for a male who will appreciate a family-oriented home. The Gomez family is determined to make a difference in an individuals’ life by embracing them into their family, with love, dignity, and respect while offering a high quality of living.
