Deerfield Group Home is located in a peaceful neighborhood on a private road, about two miles from the town of Amherst.  The home is designed for full wheelchair accessibility, including a large bathroom to accommodate a shower trolley and mechanical lift.  Residents enjoy a spacious, open living room and library area, a dining room, breakfast nook next to the kitchen, large bedrooms, and a back deck where wildlife is frequently enjoyed.  This home was the first round-the-clock staffed group home in Central Virginia started by Wall Residences in 2015 to support individuals with complex medical needs moving from the local state institution.  Several experienced staff members continue to care for people who live there, as they have since the home opened.  Deerfield looks forward to welcoming our next housemate!
