About the Providers
Wanette has been a dedicated support professional and advocate in the ID community since 2018, bringing experience in residential settings, therapeutic recreation, and as a sponsored residential provider since 2012. She provides direct support with activities of daily living including personal care, medication education and administration, transportation, and community involvement. Her work with individuals with diverse needs such as autism, mobility challenges, behavioral health conditions, and other developmental disabilities has strengthened her ability to adapt her approach and meet each person where they are. Wanette is known for being committed, dependable, patient, and genuinely caring, with strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
Since 2020, her husband Carol has gained meaningful experience as an advocate within the ID/DD community. He assists with meal preparation while ensuring dietary needs are met and supports activity planning to encourage engagement. In community settings, Carol advocates for individuals to ensure their voices are heard and their choices are respected. He is known for his positive attitude, sense of humor, and compassionate nature, consistently treating others with dignity and respect. Together, Wanette and Carol are recognized as dedicated, supportive, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
They enjoy a variety of activities that promote engagement and connection including traveling, spending time outdoors, visiting parks and libraries, exploring museums, watching movies, dining out, grilling, creating arts and crafts, playing games, and relaxing together at home. These shared interests help foster a warm, active, and supportive environment for those in their care.
Their daughter Raya serves as a backup worker and brings an outgoing, energetic, and creative spirit. She enjoys drawing, painting, music, cooking, spending time outdoors, traveling, and making meaningful memories with her family. J is a young boy who enjoys helping others and expressing his creativity through sculpting and painting. He loves outdoor activities, visiting parks, bowling, museums, and learning new things. Completing the family is Paris, their calm and gentle 13-year-old Morkie, who enjoys snuggling in blankets, sitting on laps, and accompanying the family on car rides.
