About the Provider

Venus brings over 15 years of hands-on caregiving experience to her role as a Sponsored Residential provider. She is a Certified Nurse Aide and has worked extensively with individuals who have developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and complex medical needs. In addition to her CNA work, Venus opened her heart and home as a therapeutic foster parent, supporting children with behavioral and emotional challenges. She has also provided more than a decade of one-on-one care to an individual with rare medical needs, gaining deep knowledge in both daily living support and long-term care.

She is warm, caring, organized, and finds joy in making others feel welcome and supported. She loves spending time outdoors, gardening or camping, traveling to new places, cooking for friends and family, and even riding her motorcycle on a sunny day. Faith and community are also very important to her, and she enjoys staying active in her church. Venus takes pride in creating a comfortable, inviting space.

Venus currently provides care in her home for an older adult, a role she has held for over two years. Their relationship has evolved into one of trust and companionship, with Venus providing both practical support and a meaningful connection. She values the opportunity to help someone feel safe, respected, and supported, and this experience continues to strengthen her commitment to compassionate, person-centered care. Venus also shares her home with her small dog.

She lives in a one-level home that sits on a quiet, dead-end street, which adds to the peaceful setting. Venus loves to garden, and it shows. Her yard is beautifully maintained and adds to the overall charm of her home.
