About the Provider

Ty brings both professional experience and personal passion to the support he provides. He has built his career around serving individuals with unique and complex needs. After graduating from Radford University, he spent time as the East Coast Ministry Director for the Carson Wentz Audience of One Foundation where he coordinated specialized experiences for children facing life-altering medical conditions and other significant hardships while working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams. Through this experience, he developed an early understanding of the importance of looking beyond a diagnosis to see the whole person and ensuring individuals receive personalized, high-quality support.

For the past several years, Ty has focused on residential services, supporting individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs in a group home setting. He believes quality support extends beyond meeting basic needs and focuses on helping individuals build independence, develop meaningful relationships, participate in their communities, and achieve their personal goals. His approach is rooted in strong communication, collaboration, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Ty is known for his attention to detail, strong advocacy and communication skills, and dedication to creating environments where individuals can truly thrive. He believes trust, consistency, and meaningful relationships are the foundation of excellent care and works closely with families and support teams to ensure each individual feels valued, respected, and empowered.

As the father of a daughter with Down syndrome, Ty brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to the support he provides. His perspective as both a provider and a parent has strengthened his appreciation for the importance of trust, communication, advocacy, and attention to detail when caring for a loved one. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of the outdoors through activities such as hiking and camping.
