About the Provider
Mary is a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with more than seven years of advanced dementia care experience. She has also spent seven years studying the Spanish language and is fluent in reading and writing. Throughout her life, Mary has naturally embraced caregiving roles for family members, children, and members of her community, including raising her two sons. Her heart for service, empathy for others, and nurturing spirit create a warm, welcoming, and family-centered environment.
Mary is actively involved in her faith community through Way Maker Church, where she volunteers in the childcare ministry. She values health, wellness, and community engagement, participating in weekly yoga classes and enjoying outdoor activities such as floating the river, hiking, walking the Blackwater Creek Trail, and attending sporting events.
Creativity is another important part of Mary's life. She enjoys crafting and creating handmade items, decorating for special occasions, and helping make celebrations memorable. Her collection of art and craft supplies includes an embroidery machine, Cricut machine, paints, and other materials that provide opportunities for creative expression and hands-on activities.
Mary maintains an active social network and enjoys spending time with friends and community groups through parties, celebrations, gatherings, and other social events. Her home offers plenty of opportunities for connection, including frequent board game nights and inviting outdoor spaces that serve as a cozy hidden oasis for relaxation and enjoyment. She shares her home with her two sons and a friendly Goldendoodle named Obadiah.
