About the Providers

Lisa brings a strong background in education and caregiving through her experience working in the special education department within the local school system. Prior to becoming a provider in 2018, she spent several years gaining valuable hands-on experience as a backup worker for other local providers which helped her develop a well-rounded understanding of individual needs and supportive services. Randy serves as a co-provider and has experience as a truck driver and he served as a volunteer with the VA Defense Force.

Together, Lisa and Randy maintain an active and engaged lifestyle. They enjoy traveling with their camper and especially look forward to beach vacations. The couple is actively involved in their church and value being part of their local community. In their free time, they enjoy attending auto races, staying active through their membership at the local YMCA, and spending quality time with their grandchildren at local parks.

About the Home

The home is a spacious three-story residence with high ceilings and open living areas. The main level includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, dining room, large living room, laundry area, and sunroom. The basement features a recreation room, family room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The upper level offers two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. The available bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom. Randy and Lisa currently support one female resident.

Lisa shared, "I am a seasoned Direct Support Professional who truly loves the "life" part of this field. With an extensive background in the ID community, I have found that the best days are built on a foundation of respect, patience, and shared laughs. My goal is always to provide the kind of compassionate, consistent care that lets those I support truly shine. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone reach a new milestone and knowing I was there to cheer them on. What draws me to the field of direct support is the unique connection I build with every individual. Having spent years working with the ID community, I have learned that I am not just a provider—I am a partner in their daily journey. The most rewarding part of my work is being invited into their lives and seeing the world through their lens. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping someone find their voice, achieve a personal goal, or simply share a moment of genuine joy and laughter."
