About the Provider

Kim and Rick Duncan became providers for Wall Residences in 2022. Prior to becoming licensed providers, Kim spent over two decades as a professional Labrador dog breeder. She also worked as a DSP for three years within a group home. In addition to these roles, she also provided administrative support completing agency documentation for several years.

Rick served as a Patrick County Sheriff's Deputy. He worked as a general contractor of homes prior to becoming a provider. He built the home they live in now. The couple currently supports one individual in their group home and has three available vacancies. They are continually working to support individuals with person-centered care.

The Duncan's are very active and enjoy many outdoor activities including fishing, camping, visiting beach destinations and traveling with their individual across country on extended vacations, visiting national parks and vacation destinations. They are family oriented and often enjoy many activities in a warm and welcoming home environment. The Duncan's and their current individual enjoy taking day trips, attending college sporting events, music festivals and visiting local attractions as well as going to the lake and boating on a regular basis.

They live in a lovely brick home with two levels. The main level is one level living with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The house is in a rural and peaceful country setting on a level lot with a deck off the dining room. The front porch is inviting with only a few steps to access the main level. The home is well maintained, warm, and inviting with well-appointed bedrooms for individuals. In addition to the individual they support, the home is shared with two dogs.
