About the Provider

Rob and Karen bring extensive experience and dedication to caregiving and have been Wall Residences providers since 2023. They spent several years as foster care providers, gaining valuable insight into supporting children and families with diverse needs. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Education. Her professional background includes three years of experience working in foster care and 15 years providing Therapeutic Day Treatment services. She also has experience supporting individuals with exceptional behaviors and utilizes trauma‑informed care in her approach. She also has intermediate proficiency in sign language and has worked with the blind and deaf community through the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB). 

Family time is a central part of life in the Robertson home and the couple enjoys spending quality time with their children and grandchildren. As a family, they especially enjoy cookouts, swimming, movie nights, and playing board games together. They are very involved in their church community and value staying connected through service and fellowship. Several individuals reside in the home, including their daughter Kayla and their grandson, Ollie and Marty. The home also currently supports one male.
