About the Providers

Jake and Angie Beamer have been providers with Wall Residences since 2014. They have two children, an adult son who lives in Charlotte and a daughter who is currently in high school. Both Jacob and Angela earned bachelor's degrees in Special Education from Radford University and master's degrees in Leadership from Virginia Tech. They bring many years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of needs and are committed to helping each person reach their full potential while living a meaningful, fulfilling life.

The Beamers are active members of their community and enjoy spending quality time with their family. They coach travel softball and value creating opportunities for connection, recreation, and personal growth. The three individuals who currently reside in their home enjoy being active in the community and traveling. Favorite activities include trips to the beach, stays at vacation rentals, dining out, and other shared experiences.

The Beamers regularly connect with other families who support individuals with disabilities and often organize group gatherings, social events, and out-of-town trips. Building relationships and maintaining an active community presence are important values for their family. They currently support three gentlemen and would like to welcome one additional individual into their home. Also residing in the home are their high school-aged daughter and their friendly small dog, Luna.

About the Home

The Beamers live in the heart of Hillsville, Virginia, with convenient access to the public library, walking trails, wellness center, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Interstate 77. Their beautifully renovated 4,500-square-foot home offers ample space and comfort, featuring three separate living areas, two large kitchens, eight bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and several bonus rooms. The home provides a welcoming environment with plenty of space for relaxation, recreation, and personalized support.
