About the Provider

Originally from South Africa, Gamu has been providing support through Wall Residences since 2019 working with both adults and children. Her caregiving experience began early, having supported her grandmother in her later years, and includes extensive work with geriatric individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has also volunteered at a home assisting individuals with disabilities who were displaced after Hurricane Katrina and has spent many years working as a backup worker for another Wall Residences provider.

Known for being kind, passionate, and insightful and in her personal time she enjoys reading, cooking, working out, going to the beach, visiting local parks, and watching movies. She is close with another provider and their family and often spends time with them. She shares her home with her husband and one individual she currently supports.
