About the Provider

Delmy is originally from Honduras and is bilingual in English and Spanish. In her home country, she worked as a law enforcement officer before earning a degree from Wytheville Community College to pursue law enforcement credentials in the United States. After completing her education, she discovered a passion for working with English as a Second Language (ESL) students in local schools. She spent seven years supporting migrant farm workers and continues to be actively involved in serving and strengthening her community.

Helping others has always been an important part of Delmy's life. Raised by her grandfather, she learned the value of compassion, generosity, and supporting those in need. These lessons inspired her lifelong commitment to serving others and showed her how meaningful it can be to make a positive difference in someone's life. Today, she enjoys connecting individuals with community resources and benefits that help them achieve greater stability and success.

Outside of her role as a provider, Delmy enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also loves gardening and caring for her animals which include two indoor dogs, several outdoor cats, chickens, and an outdoor dog. Family, community involvement, and caring for others remain central to who Delmy is. Delmy currently provides support to one individual and is excited to continue sharing her welcoming home and compassionate nature with others.
