About the Provider

Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree in education and is certified to teach grades K–12. Over her 21 years of teaching experience, she has worked with students of all ages and with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has supported students with vision impairments, hearing impairments, autism spectrum disorder, and other needs. These experiences have strengthened her ability to remain flexible and open-minded in providing individualized support.

In addition to her work in education, Cynthia has served as a backup worker and co-provider in another Wall Residences home giving her firsthand experience in the role of a Sponsored Residential Provider.

Cynthia is described by others as kind, caring, hardworking, generous, knowledgeable, professional, organized, creative, empathetic, and open-minded. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, watching movies, cooking, nature walks, and exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys traveling, including visiting her adult children in Florida and Texas, spending time with military friends, and taking cruises and other trips. Cynthia shares her home with Kobe, her sweet and playful Shih Tzu.

The first level includes a kitchen, living room, and half bath, while the second level offers the available bedrooms and a full shared bathroom in the hallway.
