Veronica and Amari Saint’s log cabin home is a nature lovers dream. Their house sits on a ridge overlooking the Little River and its surrounding wooded valley. They live 10 minutes from the small town of Riner and 20 minutes from Christiansburg, Radford, and Floyd.
The Saints both have master’s degrees and have spent their careers working with individuals with disabilities in many ways. Veronica’s degree is in special education with a focus on individuals with more severe disabilities. Amari specialized in adapted physical education and is skilled at helping people with disabilities safely participate in new physical activities. They both have extensive experience adapting activities and teaching people skills so they can participate in whatever activities they want to do.
Their service is very person centered and they will assist anyone with whatever community interests they have. The Saint family likes to try new things and explore other people’s interests. They participate in activities the individual who currently lives with them enjoys including attending live music shows and community festivals, going to restaurants, swimming, hiking, tubing and canoeing, and traveling to other states and countries.
Veronica and Amari are always on the lookout for new, different, and exciting activities. They believe that people should have lives filled with enriching activities that they enjoy, and Veronica and Amari will work hard to make that happen.
