Tonia Hall    Hillsville
For information on available services, please call: Alex Jackson (434) 610-7578

Tonia’s home is located in beautiful Fancy Gap. She is 10 minutes from the slow pace and historic sites the Blue Ridge Parkway has to offer, yet only 10 minutes from the fast pace of Interstate 77, leading south to nearby Mt. Airy, North Carolina or north to Wytheville, Virginia and beyond. Her home is surrounded by cattle and crops, creating a feeling of privacy and calm.

The home features one level living, excellent for someone who may be more comfortable in a home without stairs. The home would be accessible to an ambulatory person or an individual using a wheelchair who can transfer in and out of the wheelchair with minimal to moderate assistance. The wide open floor plan offers a bright, energetic atmosphere, which compliments Tonia’s active lifestyle. The available bedroom is adjacent to the living area of the home and across the hall from Tonia’s bedroom. The room is fully furnished, however, is available unfurnished as well. The room is available to be repainted or redecorated in a way that pleases the person who occupies it. The room is wired for cable television and/or internet.

Also living with Tonia is her 16 year old son. Tonia and her son spend a lot of time in their community, shopping, attending ball games, going to festivals and other special events, often in the nearby town of Hillsville. They travel out of state at least once each year for vacation. The Halls look forward to input and ideas for vacation locations and activities from the individual they support. The Hall’s also have a friendly outdoor dog.

Tonia has 5 years of experience providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, specifically with learning job skills. She looks forward to sharing her home with a man or a woman who enjoys staying active and offering the individual the supports they need to maintain a happy, well-balance lifestyle.
