Chris and Stacy Dowdy, along with their three children, Ryan (14), Allie (11), and Tom (9), live in a private, country setting on 15 acres in Rustburg.

Stacy is a Registered Nurse with 10 years of experience. Two of those years have been in a residential setting for individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, as well as mental health and medical diagnoses.

Chris is a full-time machinist who enjoys spending quality time with family and helping out in the community whenever there is a need. Chris’ mother is also a provider with Wall Residences and has been providing residential services for individuals for several years.

The Dowdy’s enjoy a variety of activities, such as going to softball games and piano recitals, fi shing, daytrips to the mountains, picnics, going to the movies, and bowling. At home they enjoy swimming in their in- ground pool, gardening, playing the Wii, relaxing on the front porch or patio, and cookouts with family and friends. They are always willing to try new activities, and would like to share their life with someone.
