Wall Residences is proud to announce that we are now offering sponsored residential services to children under the age of 21.  As with adult services, children will receive support to live in the home of a professional service provider and become a part of the provider’s family and community life.  Children will receive ongoing supervision, support, and guidance to promote skill building and to protect their health and safety, as well as monitoring of their physical and emotional well being.

The services provided by our sponsored residential home model are appropriate for the support needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, serious emotional disturbance or a long-term mental illness. The training and assistance provided is individualized according to the needs and preferences of the individual. A team approach is used to develop a support plan that meets the needs of each child.

  •  Placements in these services are carefully considered, with special regard given to the compatibility and the safety of others already living in the environment, and children’s services are operated separately from any adult service.
  • Supports to maintain contact and connections with natural family will be provided and given a high priority.

If you would like more information about sponsored residential services for children or would like to make a referral, please contact Keri Basham , Children’s Services Coordinator at (540) 309-6670 or kbasham@wallresidences.com

Wall Residences was formed in 1995 with the purpose of providing individualized support to people who have significant support needs.
